Bridal Hair-Up Course:
Learn beautiful and timeless wedding hair on this fun Bridal Styling training course. This course is designed for those wanting to venture out into the event and bridal hair industry. Make dreams come true for your clients when they want to look their best for that special occasion, this styling training course will give you the confidence to be inspired to turn your hand (and your brush) to styles fit for any occasion!

Dress Code: Please wear professional attire or black trousers and T-shirt. You will also require slippers and snacks for the day.

Certification: ABT accredited certificate will be awarded on successful course completion

Course Details:
What will the course cover?

• Discuss how to do a consultation and trial with your bride.

•  

• Create classic bridal and hair-up styles - French pleats/vertical rolls, barrel curls, buns, knots, products, pin curls and curling tools.

•  

• Place a tiara and hair accessories.

•  

• The tools and equipment needed, hygiene & helpful tips & advice.

What do I need to know before I start the course?
This course is designed for beginners or people who have some knowledge of putting hair up. Please note you do not need to be a qualified hairdresser to attend this course. We recommend you bring your own lunch. Please bring your camera to take before & after shots, however video recording a workshop is not allowed. You are also required to bring the completed assessment with you on the training day

How will the course be taught?
The course will be a mixture of observation of tutor demonstration and practical. You will carry out practical work on the practice head. Please feel free to ask questions throughout your training day.

Will I need to bring any materials?
You'll need to bring the following materials:
- 18 Inch Practice Head (you will also require a clamp).
- Brushes.
- Metal End Comb.
- Hedgehog Brush.
- Hair Spray.
- 2” Brown Kirby Grips.
- 2” Brown Hair Pins.
- Section Clips Pk6.
- Dark Brown Donut Sponge.
- Shine Spray & Gel Wax (Optional - Various lines available).
- Selection of hair accessories, embellishments and tiara.
- Hair straighteners and tongs.
Please also bring snacks for the day

Is the course accredited?
The course is accredited by ABT. This course includes a certificate which will enable the student to obtain liability insurance through a number of insurance companies.
